From the Opera House, you can get to Bondi by taxi or bus number 333. It takes about 20 minutes by taxi and 45 minutes by bus.
The best time to visit Bondi Beach is between November and March. This is summertime in Sydney, unlike in most other countries.
The waves here are huge and come in sets, making it a popular spot for surfers. There are also plenty of lifeguards on duty to provide assistance in case of emergencies.
