University of Sydney is located in the city center, about 5km from Sydney Opera House, 10 minutes by train or bus from Central Station.

Beautiful trees right at the school gate.

"I arrived here in early November, a time when the school was enveloped in the enchanting beauty of blooming jacaranda flowers."

The path leads to the school's sports field.

Almost every building has a purple poinciana tree in front.

"I've included a map below highlighting the locations where I'll be taking photos today, making it easier for you to find them. This map is sourced from the school's website, where you can also explore the locations of other school buildings at: https://maps.sydney.edu.au/

My photo shoot schedule today.

The next stop on my journey was the Faculty of Medicine building, adorned with a stunning row of jacaranda trees in full bloom right in front of the entrance.

This location is also a popular choice among students for capturing their graduation photos.

And the focal point of my photo shoot today is The Quadrangle Building, home to some of the school's most stunning architectural gems.

The Quadrangle Building.
Gate to the quadrangle.

The quadrangle is built in Gothic Revival architecture, an architectural style inspired by medieval architecture.

There are numerous doorways here, offering perfect spots to stand behind and capture photos while gazing out at the historic buildings beyond.

In one corner of the building, there’s also a jacaranda tree. However, by the time I arrived, many of its blossoms had already fallen. .Late October is the perfect time to visit the University of Sydney for photos. The weather is cool, the sunlight is gentle, and the jacaranda trees are in full, vibrant bloom - a scene that’s sure to leave you captivated.

The Jacaranda tree stands gracefully at the corner of the building.

The campus truly resembles Hogwarts, the iconic magical school from the Harry Potter series.

Built in 1854, the Quadrangle Building has stood for 170 years and remains the centerpiece for the university's major ceremonies and events.

Take a look at all the photos I captured at the Quadrangle Building. Thank you for reading all the way through !
