Kyushu is the third largest of Japan's four main islands and is located in the southwest of the country. This is the birthplace of Japanese civilization, famous for its natural beauty, rich culture, and many attractive tourist attractions. You can get to the Kyushu area in many ways, such as flying to Fukuoka International Airport, taking the Shinkansen bullet train to Hakata Station (Fukuoka), or taking a cruise to Fukuoka by sea. And today I will introduce to you how I went to Kyushu by cruise from Osaka / Kobe.

Hankyu Ferry is one of the oldest water transport operators in Japan, established in 1968, and has two main routes connecting the Kansai area with Kyushu, from the port Izumiotsu (Osaka) and port Kobe to the port Shinmoji (Fukuoka).

The time I got on the train was around 7:30 p.m., so I decided to eat before walking around taking photos.

Some of the restaurant's dishes that I took photos of.

The majority of dishes are seafood, sashimi,...

And the rice meal I chose today includes Aji furai (deep-fried scampi), along with mixed salad and Oden (a traditional Japanese dish, with main ingredients being tofu, fish cakes, and radish). , … stewed in soy sauce-flavored dashi broth). The price for this meal is about 1,000 JPY (~ 160,000 VND), very reasonable.

After exploring and taking photos on the yacht, I returned to the room to get up early the next morning to photograph the sunrise at sea. The time I went was summer (late July), so sunrise was very early, around 4:30 ~ 5:00 am.

The rooms on the yacht look quite similar to those in a hotel.

And this is the scene I saw the next morning, at about 4:30.

The sun hasn't risen yet, but the horizon is already a beautiful yellow color.

There are many beautiful photography angles on the 7th floor of the yacht.

And at around 5am, the sun started to rise, which was what I was looking forward to most in this experience.

Watching sunrise and sunset at sea are two of my favorite things.

Even though it was the middle of summer when I went, the weather was extremely hot, but during this time the sun had not yet risen high, combined with the strong sea breeze, it felt like autumn weather, extremely pleasant. bear.

The sun is about to rise.

Sunrise time is only about 15-20 minutes, so don't miss the beautiful moments with the sunrise. Watching the sunrise at sea is the biggest reason why I chose to go to Kyushu by yacht.

The sunlight at this time is very beautiful, making it extremely easy to take beautiful photos

I waited until the sun was high, then moved down to the 5th and 6th floors to take more shots of the yacht.

The water surface sparkles with the morning sun. I took the photo in the 5th floor hallway.

The doorways in the 5th floor hallway are also my favorite shooting locations. The view overlooking the sea really gives me a lot of energy.

The ship only travels a short time and then sees land. Go about 30 minutes further and you will arrive at the port Shinmoji.

In addition, at the end of the hallway on the 6th floor, there will be a room for people to eat breakfast while admiring the scenery. The scenic view is also very beautiful, located right in front of the yacht.

After the cruise ship docks, you move down to the first floor, there will be a bus waiting. The bus will run for free from the Hankyu Ferry cruise mooring port to the nearest train station (Kokura station).

Our group took a check-in photo before getting off the cruise.

After taking the free bus to Kokura station, I took a fast train to Hakata station (about 1 hour by train), starting the first day of my trip to travel to the provinces of Kyushu region.

Rapid Express train to Hakata station.

I'll go to Hakata station Rent a self-driving car Discover the first prefecture on your Kyushu trip: Fukuoka. The next article will share my day exploring Fukuoka. Remember to follow me on social networking platforms so you don't miss new posts.
