Continuing the series of finding the top most beautiful cafes in each city, this time we will go to the capital Hanoi of Vietnam. This article also ends my trip to Vietnam, and continues articles about Japan. Let's get started!
- Café Camy – Good Old Days
Address: https://goo.gl/maps/GR6Gd8wfbod3tVsc6
The restaurant is located on Tran Nhat Duat street, right at the foot of Chuong Duong bridge, and about 10 minutes walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, quite convenient for transportation.
The restaurant is decorated in a classic European style, quite new.
The shop has 3 floors and another expansion area on the 2nd floor, quite spacious and comfortable. Below are a series of photos I took of each floor of the shop.
1st floor: includes an area to order drinks, an area for people to check in, and areas for people to sit and drink drinks.
Checkin area in front of the restaurant
There's also one in front of the shop.
The restaurant's restroom also looks very neat and clean :v
Today's author 😀
The first floor is decorated quite beautifully and neatly.
2nd floor: includes indoor and outdoor sitting space.
3rd floor: has the style of a classic European farm.
The shop's staff also wear uniforms to match the shop's style.
In my opinion, this is a restaurant with a good location, easy to get around, spacious space, many places to check in, and delicious drinks. The minus point is that the shop does not have a parking space, you have to park your car in the nearby parking lot (fees apply).
2. Cafe balcony.

The cafe I mentioned in the article Top 10 famous spots in Hanoi Old Quarter, but in this article, I will go into more detail.
Balcony Café is located in an old French villa located right at the beginning of Dinh Liet street, the center of the old town.
The restaurant also has an extremely spacious space with 3 floors, serving both food and drinks, and at night it will be a bar serving alcohol.
The cafe's balcony has a classic, old style, very true to the appearance of the shop.
In particular, between the 2nd and 3rd floors, Balcony has an extremely beautiful small flower house.
When I open the door and step in, I can immediately feel the gentle fragrance coming from many types of flowers here, extremely pleasant.
The shop also sells fresh flowers, dried flowers and Hanoi photo cards here.
Crocheted gifts are also sold here.
A few photos I took of a female friend at Balcony's flower house:
The restaurant is also chosen by many Tripadvisor users as an attractive destination.
Just like Camy cafe, the shop does not have a parking space outside the door, you have to park at number 12, Trung Yen alley (50m from the shop), but the parking fee is completely free. A plus point compared to Camy cafe. In addition, opposite the parking lot of the restaurant is the famous ginseng fish noodle shop that I mentioned in the article Top 10 famous spots in Hanoi Old Quarter. If you haven't read it yet, please stop by and read it!
3. Coffee train.
Address: https://goo.gl/maps/agLXiAiX6NpM8EMm8
A very new cafe, with a view of Long Bien bridge that you should try once when visiting Hanoi.
This shop is right next to the shop Serein Cafe & lounge It's famous, but Serein Cafe has a surcharge of 500k ~ 1 million for people bringing cameras into the shop, so I don't recommend it.
This shop has 2-3 famous views that you can check in here. First is Long Bien station.
Long Bien Station seen from the restaurant.
Next is the train line running through Long Bien bridge.
And finally, the view looks straight to Long Bien bridge.
From the restaurant, you can also walk to Dong Xuan market and Long Bien market to buy fruit and eat, very convenient.
Above are the top 3 most beautiful cafes in Hanoi in my opinion. What about your top 3? Comment down below! Thank you for reading to the end of the article!
