Ganh Da Dia is located about 30km north of Tuy Hoa city (Phu Yen province). It is a natural masterpiece formed by unique basalt columns along the clear blue coastline, attracting over 500,000 tourists, both domestic and international, when visiting Phu Yen in 2023.

Today, let's explore the entire Ganh Da Dia , a natural wonder of Phu Yen province.

Entrance fee : 40,000 VND / 1 adult.
Opening hours : 8am – 10pm
Right after purchasing the entrance ticket, you will see signs leading to the Ganh Da Dia area. On the way, you will pass through areas with souvenir shops, dining establishments, and rest areas.

After about 5-10 minutes of walking, you will reach the Ganh Da Dia area. It is often quite windy here, so it’s advisable to avoid carrying an umbrella to ensure your safety.

About 200 million years ago, volcanic eruptions under the sea spewed out molten lava. When exposed to cold seawater, the sudden cooling process created a thermal contraction phenomenon, leading to the formation of polygonal cracks, creating neatly stacked rocks like the present Ganh Da Dia - Phu Yen .

There are also many local fishing boats operating in this area, making it a great spot to capture beautiful photos. Below are some of the pictures I took:

The ideal time to visit Ganh Da Dia and Phu Yen for sightseeing and travel is from March to August. It is advisable to avoid visiting between September and December, as this period typically experiences storms, strong winds, and unfavorable weather conditions.

Based on my observation, about 90% of visitors, after sightseeing and taking photos at Ganh Da Dia, tend to return the same way they came (the road from the entrance to Ganh Da Dia). However, if you do that, you will miss out on 50% of the beautiful scenery here!

At the rock edge of Ganh Đa Đia, there is a sign directing visitors to the next exploration path to continue discovering the natural beauty of the area. However, the sign is quite small and positioned in a hidden corner, so it seems that many people miss it. I myself almost missed this path and was about to return the same way I came.

And the rest of the Ganh Da Dia tourist area truly left a big impression on me. This area features many large rocky outcrops with a direct view of the sea, as well as a panoramic view of Ganh Da Dia in the distance.

You just need to continue straight along this route to return to the original ticket gate without having to retrace your steps along the old path.

After exploring the entire Ganh Da Dia, I moved on to the Ganh Den Lighthouse, which is just 1km away. You can either walk or ride a motorbike to get there, and there is a parking area right in front of the lighthouse.

It only takes about 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the lighthouse. This is also a great spot to watch the sunset.

And here ends my journey of exploring Ganh Da Dia, a natural wonder of Phu Yen province. Ganh Da Dia is not only an attractive tourist destination but also a testament to the marvels of nature. With its unique and majestic beauty, it truly deserves to be one of the must-visit landmarks when in Phu Yen.
