Continuing my series of discovering the most beautiful cafés in each city, this time, we’ll explore the vibrant capital of Vietnam, Hanoi. This article marks the end of my journey through Vietnam, and I’ll soon be sharing more stories from Japan. Let's get started!
- Café Camy – Good Old Days

The restaurant is situated on Tran Nhat Duat Street, right at the foot of Chuong Duong Bridge, and just a 10-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, making it very convenient for transportation.
The restaurant is decorated in a fresh, classic European style, offering a charming and elegant atmosphere.
The shop has three floors, with an additional expansion area on the second floor, making it spacious and comfortable. Below are a series of photos I took of each floor of the shop.
1st floor: This floor features a drink ordering area, a dedicated check-in spot, and comfortable seating areas for enjoying your drinks.

The restaurant's restroom is also very tidy and clean, adding to the overall pleasant experience :v

2nd floor: This floor offers both indoor and outdoor seating areas, providing a variety of options for guests.
3rd floor: This floor features a classic European farm style, creating a rustic and charming atmosphere.
The shop’s staff also wear uniforms that perfectly complement the shop's overall style.
In my opinion, this restaurant boasts a great location, is easy to access, has a spacious layout with plenty of check-in spots, and offers delicious drinks. The downside is that the shop doesn’t have its own parking space, so you'll need to park in a nearby lot (parking fees apply).
2. Balcony cafe.

Balcony Café is tucked away in an old French villa at the start of Dinh Liet Street, right in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter.
The restaurant offers an incredibly spacious setting spread across three floors, serving both food and drinks. In the evening, it transforms into a bar offering a variety of alcoholic beverages.
The café's balcony features a classic, old-world style that perfectly matches the shop's overall appearance.
One of the highlights is the charming little flower house located between the 2nd and 3rd floors, adding a beautiful touch to the café.
As soon as I open the door and step inside, I’m greeted by the gentle fragrance of various flowers, creating an incredibly pleasant atmosphere.
The shop also offers a selection of fresh flowers, dried flowers, and photo cards showcasing Hanoi's beauty.

The restaurant is also highly recommended by many Tripadvisor users as an attractive destination.
Similar to Camy café, the shop does not have a parking space outside the door, you have to park at number 12, Trung Yen alley (50m from the shop), but the parking fee is completely free. A plus point compared to Camy café. In addition, opposite the shop's parking lot is the famous fish noodle shop sam cay si that I mentioned in the article Top 10 famous places in Hanoi's Old Quarter . 3. Train Coffee.

A very new café with a view of Long Bien Bridge that you should definitely try when visiting Hanoi.
This shop is right next to the famous Serein Cafe & lounge , but Serein Cafe has an additional fee of 500k ~ 1 million for those who bring cameras into the shop, so I don't recommend it.
This shop offers 2-3 famous spots for check-ins, with the first being Long Bien Station.

Next is the train line that runs through Long Bien Bridge, offering another great spot for photos.
And finally, there's the stunning view directly facing Long Bien Bridge, providing a perfect backdrop for your photos.
From the restaurant, you can easily walk to Dong Xuan Market and Long Bien Market to buy fruit and enjoy local delicacies, making it very convenient.
