Every year, during the cherry blossom season in mid-April, the Japan Mint opens its doors to the public for a week, allowing visitors to enjoy the breathtaking sight of the cherry blossoms.

There are more than 350 cherry blossom trees with more than 130 different varieties of peach, such as: Kanzan, Fugenzo, Shogetsu, Benitemari, Shibayama, Kizakura ...

Most of the peach trees here are late-blooming varieties and double cherries, known for their striking clusters of blossoms.

This event has been held annually in Osaka since 1883, making it a tradition that spans over a century! It is regarded as a symbol of the characteristic beauty of spring in Osaka.

Here are my photos around this area. Because I went at night, all the photos today were taken with the Fujinon 33mm F1.4 lens! Remember to click on each photo to see it in the best quality! Hopefully it will help you have more perspective of the bustling city of Osaka at night.

At night, they will light up the entire street like this
